Climate change? What Climate change, Congress produced enough climate-stunting carbon dioxide to fill 10,000 Olympic swimming pools….at the Tax payers expensive

This sure does smell like something Nancy Pelosi would be behind, considering she has her head so far up her own A$$ that she could not smell anyting anyway.

So, remember the “Climate Change Summitt” in Copenhagen? The official amount of money spent is not in just yet, but you can bet your Tax money, its not cheap……by far.

CBS investigative correspondent Sharyl Attkisson reports that cameras spotted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi at the summit. She called the shots on who got to go. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, and embattled Chairman of the Tax Committee Charles Rangel were also there. They were joined by 17 colleagues: Democrats: Waxman, Miller, Markey, Gordon, Levin, Blumenauer, DeGette, Inslee, Ryan, Butterfield, Cleaver, Giffords, and Republicans: Barton, Upton, Moore Capito, Sullivan, Blackburn and Sensenbrenner.

That’s not the half of it. But finding out more was a bit like trying to get the keys to Ft. Knox. Many referred us to Speaker Pelosi who wouldn’t agree to an interview. Her office said it “will comply with disclosure requirements” but wouldn’t give us cost estimates or even tell us where they all stayed.

Senator Inhofe (R-OK) is one of the few who provided us any detail. He attended the summit on his own for just a few hours, to give an “opposing view.”

“They’re going because it’s the biggest party of the year,” Sen. Inhofe said. “The worst thing that happened there is they ran out of caviar.”

Our investigation found that the congressional delegation was so large, it needed three military jets: two 737’s and a Gulfstream Five — up to 64 passengers — traveling in luxurious comfort.

Add senators and staff, most of whom flew commercial, and we counted at least 101 Congress-related attendees. All for a summit that failed to deliver a global climate deal.

As a perk, some took spouses, since they could snag an open seat on a military jet or share a room at no extra cost to taxpayers. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) was there with her husband. Rep. Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) was also there with her husband. Rep. Ed Markey (D-MA) took his wife, as did Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI). Congressman Barton — a climate change skeptic — even brought along his daughter.

Until required filings are made in the coming weeks, we can only figure bits and pieces of the cost to you.

Three military jets at $9,900 per hour – $168,000 just in flight time.

Dozens flew commercial at up to $2,000 each.

321 hotel nights booked – the bulk at Copenhagen’s five-star Marriott.

Meals add tens of thousands more.

Why Thank-You congress, a happy New Year to you as well, I see nothing has changed on your end.

No Wonder CNN is losing rating, the headline is AARP expected to support health care.

Really CNN? No kidding.

Did you forget about the town hall protests in August of this year?

Come on CNN, you can do better than that especially when we are just days away from the Health Care reform going live to public and we only have 72 hours to read 2000 pages.

And please stop quoting Michelle Bachmann, the woman is crazy and gives the Republicans a bad name…it would be like quoting Barney Frank on every story.

Only 34 percent of Californians approve of Pelosi’s performance

And I think that is pretty darn high. I’m surprised anyone approves of her performance.

A poll released over the weekend shows that only 34 percent of Californians approve of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) job performance, down 14 points from March

The study polled 1,005 Californians by phone from Sept. 18 to Oct. 5.

I’m wondering for those that came back ‘no-opionion’ have any idea in who she actually is and those that approved are actually her plastic $urgeons.

Pelosi needs a Kleenex, Chokes up over fear of Political violence??

Miss dont you waterboard me Pelosi says “I have concerns about some of the language that is being used because I saw … I saw this myself in the late ’70s in San Francisco,” Pelosi said, choking up and with tears forming in her eyes. “This kind of rhetoric is just, is really frightening and it created a climate in which we, violence took place and … I wish that we would all, again, curb our enthusiasm in some of the statements that are made.”

Boo HOO!!! You have no one to blame but yourselves, you wont listen to anyone else, you walk around congress like you own it (which I guess for now you do) you make statements that you dont care what people think about you and your party screams racisim every time they dont get there way.

So now, when the other side protest, it’s violence, when your team protests its patriotic?? As far as I’m aware the only severe violence to occur was when a health care reform activist bit the finger off a counter-demonstrator.
Stop being a hypocrite. Go kill a tree and blow on a kleenex. Your crocodile tears are a good ploy, but not good enough.

Pelosi and the White House Expresses Approval for ‘Public Option’ Alternative

It seems Miss Dont you waterboard me Pelosi and the rest of the white house might be coming off the perch a little and approving of a potential reform package that does not include a government-run insurance plan.

Until now Miss P has described the so-called public option, backed aggressively by the liberal House Democrats, as a key ingredient to passage of any House health reform package.

But on Thursday she acknowledged talks to substitute a “trigger” mechanism that would hold the public option in abeyance for several years so Congress could evaluate the performance of the insurance industry and its ability or willingness to expand coverage or lower premiums.

Although that is the story today, who knows what the story will be tomorrow.

Stay Tuned, folks….

Whose Health Care cause is it anyway?

US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who obviously is staying away from Obama and protester Cindy Sheehan during the summer break spoke today and vowed to the cause of her of Sen Kennedy’s life

“This is the cause of my life,” Kennedy said of the 46 million Americans who do not have health insurance.

Meanwhile across town Byrd has offered his 2 cents and suggested the new healthcare reform be named after Kennedy and upon hearing this Nancy kicked herself for not coming up with the same thing and getting a extra 1 minute of time on C-Span and not one of them thinking about the impact it could be having on Mary Jo Kopechne’s family in regards to having a healthcare bill in Kennedy’s name

pelosi and byrd

Give yourselves a round of applause

Sisters are doing it for themselves…Spot the difference

What is un-american and what is not?

Vs – this article

Why can a war be protested and not health insurance? No matter what side of the fence you stand on, why is it un-american for one protest and not another?
