Detroit homeless get more stimulus money

Ahhh when will it ever end?

Detroits homeless, yep, homeless and low-income residents get another opportuniy at getting some millions more of the stimulus money.

Why oh why???

It isto help those almost becoming homeless to pay some bills and those who are homeless to find housing?

Soooo the homeless can get housing, but wont be able to get a job because of the poor economy in Detroit and will be homeless again?

So instead of using the stimulus to help shelters and education and courses for the homeless to keep them occupied during the day, we are just going to throw money at them.

How many of the homeless are homeless because of mental issues??? Just sayin?

I guess you do infact have to pay for those votes afterall

U.S in Afghanistan for the long haul???

Thats what Bill Clinton’s wifey and Robert Gates are saying.

So does that mean Gates got his extra 40,000 troops he asked for? Not exactly, it seems the amount of troops is still under discussion

The Taliban insurgency currently has the momentum in Afghanistan, Gates said, adding that a Taliban takeover of the country would empower the al Qaeda terrorist network.

“Because of our inability and the inability, frankly, of our allies to put enough troops in Afghanistan, the Taliban do have the momentum right now, he said.

Ummm, okay so what is happening?

“We’re not leaving Afghanistan,” he declared, adding: “There should be no uncertainty in terms of our determination to remain in Afghanistan and to continue to build a relationship of partnership and trust with the Pakistanis. That’s long term. That’s a strategic objective of the United States.”

Okay, so I get the point of the meeting where the US will stay in Afghanistan, yet every though there are not enough troops in Afghanistan to stop the Talibana momentum the next step is not decided….way to take your time kids.

More troops being sent to Afghanistan?

Well it appears Robert Gates is certianly considering it.

Gates is inclined to back Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the top commander in Afghanistan, in pursuing a counterinsurgency strategy, news outlets said yesterday.

However the amount of troops being sent is still up in the air as Gen. Stanley McChrystal would like approx 40,000

SO what does O-man say, well reports are that he met with McChrystal aboard airforce one for about 20 or so minutes on his return flight from his losing bid in Cophenhagan (Hmmm the Olympics and the bid not costing any taxes payers money huh?? I’m pretty sure tax payers pay for airforce one – but annnyyyway)

Robert Gibbs described the discussion as “quick” “robust,” with the president hearing from 17 different people.

Man that sure is alot of people on Airforce one for a return flight home

And of course Hillary had her two cents in and several sources said she was concerned with having enough troops present in Afghanistan to support the Obama administration’s civilian efforts, suggesting she may be leaning toward more additional troops as well.

Not so fast you damn hoppies about to jump down her throat the ever peaceful Hil said she made clear that she favors a more detailed examination of the mission before a decision on troop levels is made.

Once Obama finished all his quick robust meetings he then starting looking for his ego that squashed in Copenhagen.

Protestors arrested in Chicago

Okay, soooo I think its B.S how they are saying that the Olympics in Chicagoland are not going to cost the tax payers anything as they are privatley funded, by who Oprah??

I guess the yo-yo dieter can afford it.

And Obama is trotting off overseas to bid for the olympics when the country is clearly in financial and emotional turmoil and the health care bid is around the corner and noone has heard anything out of him in regards to health care in a couple of weeks.

But when it comes to protestors, why is it not the average joe protesting…why do all protestors look like this???

Need health care? Got no I.D? No problem

It turns out, I have away to avoid my health care costs everymonth afterall.

I’m just going to turn up, not speak English.

The smarts that are at congress rejected a proposed a requirement that immigrants prove their identity with photo identification when signing up for federal healthcare programs.

Because basically they figure, they will just turn up with a fake one anyway, so why they have put all these new fabulous rules in place, like showing a Social security card, if you are a legal immigrant you need to be here for 5 years before you can access Medicaid etc, they are scraping the idea of actually showing any I. D.

Maybe its just me, but this seems to make no sense at all.

But there again, not too sure why I’m even questioning, because this thing is not going to cost taxpayers anything, right? Just like the Olympics in Chicago are not going to cost them anything?

I dont know where they learnt math like that, but I like it. Now if only my check book could operate under the same math equation.

Mrs Obama wants the Olympics in Chicago, parents in Chicago want kids to go to school and not be beaten to death

The same day that Michelle Obama has vowed to “take no prisoners” in her and her husbands fight to take the Olympics to Chicago a young student was brutally killed while getting caught in the cross fires of a ‘turf” war trying to make his way to the bus.

I am all for supporting the Olympics, no matter where it is in the US. Let’s face it, it brings alot of money to the country and the city, but it also costs a lot of money and when voilence is on the increase between students in school, out of school and just in general on the increase, I cant help but think again, this administration needs to stop and take a breath.

Yes, I am well aware O-man and Mrs O-man can go out on their own and do this thing and she is not part of the administration but it just shows again, O-man was saving health care 2 weeks ago, saving the world last week and now saving Chicago this week, he has his hands in everything.

He needs to stop, focus and be our leader that seems focused on a few things that are going to help the country not be the saviour of everything and acting like J.C.

He is flying the Copenhagen to go after the olympics, when he should be here standing by his nation and bank bailouts and health care, Afghanistan and children getting murdered and beat up on their way to school and fixing that, not flying off to Capenhagen and meeting with the IOC

He is going to drop the ball and lets face it, Congress cant be left alone for too long before they start doing severe damage.

What do you think, too much or still too little?

Ahmadinejad reacts to Obama’s “empty” threats

Well that did’nt take too long, after O-man and Browns sterns yet empty threat this morning Ahmadinejad has replied.

Ahmadinejad says “If I were Obama’s adviser, I would definitely advise him to refrain making this statement because it is definitely a mistake.

He insisted Iran was not keeping anything from the IAEA. “We have no secrecy, we work within the framework of the IAEA, This does not mean we must inform Mr. Obama’s administration of every facility that we have this simply adds to the list of issues to which the United States owes the Iranian nation an apology over.”

He boasted that Obama’s “mistakes” work in Iran’s favor.

Alright o-man, looks like the ball is your court.

If it’s not a Tax Increase, what is it? Because by definition it is a tax

On one of his many media blitz’s over the weekend, Obama was asked if requiring health insurance, does that mean its a tax increase and in a very curt answer he says:

“For us to say you have to take responsibility to get health insurance is absolutely not a tax increase,” Obama said in response to persistent questioning, later adding: “Nobody considers that a tax increase.”

Those unable to afford health insurance should get government help, Obama said, but others who can afford coverage but choose not to get it should face coverage requirements similar to those for auto insurance.

Does health insurance being compared to auto insurance just sound strange?? perhaps its me?

What it’s saying is … that we’re not going to have other people carrying your burdens for you any more than the fact that right now everybody in America, just about, has to get auto insurance,” he said. “Nobody considers that a tax increase. People say to themselves, that is a fair way to make sure that, if you hit my car, that I’m not covering all the costs.”

But the fact is, there are many people out there, illegal and legal that dont have auto insurance, and some counties will then impound the car or perhaps just a ticket, how is this going to be policed?

I still have many more questions, and many that seem to never be asked?

Obama said about Republicans “are just not going to support anything.”

I’m not too sure Obama it is just Republicans, there are many people that voted for you that have many questions and perhaps its being misread as not supporting it.

I think after being burnt with the bail out, there are just a lot more questions and a lack of trust in the current congress.

You and your party owe it to the taxpayers to spell this thing out with every check and balance shown to them.

O-man also got very snarky with another reporter who brings up a very good point and this is a ABC news reporter

Under this mandate, the government is forcing people to spend money, fining you if you don’t. How is that not a tax?” the host asked.

Obama responded: ” No, but — but, George, you — you can’t just make up that language and decide that that’s called a tax increase.”

Stephanopoulos then offered the dictionary definition.

“I don’t think I’m making it up. Merriam-Webster’s dictionary: ‘Tax, a charge, usually of money, imposed by authority on persons or property for public purposes,'” he said.

“No. That — that’s not true, George. The — for us to say that you’ve got to take a responsibility to get health insurance is absolutely not a tax increase,” Obama said

O-man sounds like you need to read the dictionary, Georgey S just OWNED you!

Let’s open up another can of worms shall we. Obama: Legalize illegals to get them health care

And again, only proving my point that we should have taken a step back from this health care plan and really assesed it from the bottom line. Now, its turing into a Health care/Immigration reform, be prepared for the health care reform to topple the trillion dollar mark.

O-man says, “Even though I do not believe we can extend coverage to those who are here illegally, I also don’t simply believe we can simply ignore the fact that our immigration system is broken,” on Wednesday evening in a speech to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. “That’s why I strongly support making sure folks who are here legally have access to affordable, quality health insurance under this plan, just like everybody else.

Mr. Obama added, “If anything, this debate underscores the necessity of passing comprehensive immigration reform and resolving the issue of 12 million undocumented people living and working in this country once and for all.”

So now, this health care reform is turing into a immigration reform.

Caliente!

Anyone know where they are getting these trees to grow the money for all this? I want one. Willing to pay you with good hard earned tax free cash.
