Need health care? Got no I.D? No problem

It turns out, I have away to avoid my health care costs everymonth afterall.

I’m just going to turn up, not speak English.

The smarts that are at congress rejected a proposed a requirement that immigrants prove their identity with photo identification when signing up for federal healthcare programs.

Because basically they figure, they will just turn up with a fake one anyway, so why they have put all these new fabulous rules in place, like showing a Social security card, if you are a legal immigrant you need to be here for 5 years before you can access Medicaid etc, they are scraping the idea of actually showing any I. D.

Maybe its just me, but this seems to make no sense at all.

But there again, not too sure why I’m even questioning, because this thing is not going to cost taxpayers anything, right? Just like the Olympics in Chicago are not going to cost them anything?

I dont know where they learnt math like that, but I like it. Now if only my check book could operate under the same math equation.

The Health Care Propsal is out! At a bargain price of $856billion!

The senate unveiled a summary of his long-awaited health care reform bill today and well, well, well….No public Option

The bill crafted by Sen. Max Baucus, D-Montana, would cost $856 billion over 10 years and mandate insurance coverage for every American.

Here what I think is wrong, the bill had only Democratic input. Is that right? Should they not have reached over the other side and at least grabbed a couple of people? So much for bi-partisian.

The measure drops the public option favored by Obama and many Democratic leaders, according to a statement. As expected, the plan instead calls for the creation of nonprofit health care cooperatives.

So basically nothing in the healthcare system is being fixed, prices are going to go up as they said as long as people pay the premiumum then they have healthcare, therefore Insurance companies are just going to increase the premiums and people wont be able to afford it anyway…so leaning on non-profit with the billions of dollars is going to head into the trillions of dollars.

Not once, has anyone stopped to address what is driving up the costs of health insurance. Get to the root of the problem, fix that then do a reform bill.

This has disaster written all over it

To be or not to be? The Health Care yap-fest on tonight

Well folks tonight is the night, O-man will address a joint session of Congress in a speech aides say will be to the point.

Damn right it better be to the point as the last time he went prime-time we spoke about Gates and Crowley for a week and then we had to listen to Doctor’s explain why they chose the beer they did, which just led me to drink more.

I’m curious about this “trigger” action they may pull on us, the fact that the Swiss now have a better economy than the U.S, the govt cannot seem to manage the postal service, Bacus and his hooligans of six (See yesterday’s blogs) and the fact that we dont have a co$t, so I sure hope that is in the “points” today.

I’m just confused why we dont try and fix what is driving up the costs of health care before we start throwing money at it. But there again, it looks like Reid and Ms dont you waterboard me Pelosi are telling O-man they have the votes.

This is a big speech for him and could be a huge turning point in his Presidency, will you tune in to listen to Kennedycare the telepromter assisted Obamacare Health Care speech?

FINED! For not getting Health Care

Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont. (in my opinion drinks the same crazy juice drink as Michelle Bachman ) who as chairman of the Senate Finance Committee is leading talks among the “Gang of Six” senators to hammer out a bipartisan compromise, offered what he described on Tuesday as a “framework” and not a “final product.”

Damn right better not be the final product, people are going to be pissed when they hear this one.

The “framework”, it seems includes what amounts to a no-choice option. It would make health insurance mandatory, like auto insurance.

Grrrrreeaaattt who votes for these people?

So what does this fabulous plan framework say:

The plan would provide tax credits to help small employers and help cover the cost for households making up to three times the federal poverty level. That’s about $66,000 for a family of four, and $32,000 for an individual.

Those who still don’t sign up would face hefty fines, starting at $750 a year for individuals and $1,500 for families — for those making up to three times the poverty level.

For those who make more than that, the penalty on individuals would jump to $950 and the penalty on families would jump to $3,800.

To that, I say – please dont speak again until you are reading off a authorized teleprompter speech.

Q.Health care lobbying is costing how much? A.Enough to pay the entire insurance tab for about 30,000 families a year

So these big spenders range from drug companies, hospitals and doctor groups to organizations that advocate for unions, immigrants and retirees.

But nearly $400 million seems a little excessive, does it not?

The largest chunk has gone to direct lobbying of lawmakers and other policymakers. In the first half of 2009, the health care industry spent nearly $280 million on lobbyists, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

Just plain stupid craziness.

The lobbying figures alone are on track to exceed half-a-billion-dollar mark by the end of the year, which would be a record.

The big payoff for such spending? Open doors to policy makers.

AHA!! It seems there is an admission fee to the white house afterall.

Considering Health and accident insurers, HMOs and health services organizations increased their contributions to Blue Dogs from $106,200 in the first quarter of 2009 to $122,650 in the second, my guess if it does not pass through, they better look for contributions somewhere else in the third quarter. Someone has got to be pissed spending throwing all that money if it gets no where.

You better keep that pay off money safe and sound congress, you might it for when many of you dont have a job next year.

Obama’s Health Care supporter bites off finger of non-supporter

A healthcare reform activist is on the loose today after he bit off the finger of a 65-year-old counter-demonstrator during a fight at a MoveOn.org rally in Thousand Oaks.

That is certainly one way to prove a point.

The “bite off” occurred about 7 p.m. Wednesday at a “We Can’t Afford to Wait Vigil” organized by affiliates of the activist group MoveOn.org, which are the finger biters supporters of President Obama’s healthcare plan. The rally also attracted several counter-protesters.

If you see a man out there running around with a extra pinky, please contact the po-po. In all fairness I’m sure the fight was really over the “fist bump” making a come back and not the “pinky swear”.

America…You are out of a recession!

According to Biden and some economists out there, the US is out of a recesssion

As of today, Unemployment for July (August numbers wont be out until Sept 4th) is at 9.4%, the housing market still looks appauling, the stock market has looked liked crap for the past few weeks and I’m pretty sure everyday its got a big fat red arrow pointing down and not the nice green one going up and my 401k seems to have a constant rash and no medication out there is fixing it….and not to mention we have no idea how much this Kennedycare Health Care is going to cost us, yet.

If we are out of a Recession….HELP! I’d like to know what I’m doing wrong.
