BLACK ACTIVIST GROUP PROTESTS BARACK OBAMA: Black is Back coalition believes president is ‘white power in black face.’

*Labeling Barack Obama as “white power in black face,” a group of about 200 African-Americans marched on the White House Saturday to protest policies of the first black US president, and demand an end to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, reports AFP.

The first public demonstration by African Americans against the Obama administration since his historic inauguration in January saw blacks criticizing the president for continuing what they described as Washington’s “imperialist” agenda around the world

BORING!!!! Time to get overyourselves

“We recognize that Barack Hussein Obama is white power in black face,” civil rights activist Omali Yeshitela, chairman of the Black is Back coalition which arranged the protest, called into a megaphone as the group marched outside the mansion’s gates. “He is a tool of our imperialist enemies and we demand our freedom. And we demand that Obama withdraw all the troops from Afghanistan right now.”

oh really Omaili….just curious, if you are not happy with it, leave. Its pretty darn simple. heck go to Mexico or Cuba, the borders are as much open that way as it is this way. Although I’m guess not 1 person in this 200 people group have ever left the U.S, not one has ever felt the soil of any part of Africa between their toes.

Protesters also called for Obama to order troops out of Iraq and to scrap Africom, the controversial year-old United States Africa Command, and demanded “hands off” Venezuela and ends to the Cuba embargo and the Zimbabwe blockade.

Charles Baron, a New York City councilman and former member of the Black Panthers, attacked the president for turning a cold shoulder to the plight of African-Americans.

“We’re not satisfied with him, and… this hope and change rap has not been a reality for black people,” Baron told AFP during the demonstration. “We are glad that Barack Obama broke up the white male monopoly on the White House, but we were not looking for a change in the occupant of the White House from white to black, we were looking for change in foreign policies and domestic policies.”

“To have a black person exploiting me just like a white person, that’s no easier pain,” he added.

The group also was calling for the release of former Black Panther Mumia Abu-Jamal, who was convicted in 1982 of killing a white police officer and sentenced to death. The US Supreme Court upheld Abu-Jamal’s conviction in April and rejected his bid for a new trial.

Pelosi needs a Kleenex, Chokes up over fear of Political violence??

Miss dont you waterboard me Pelosi says “I have concerns about some of the language that is being used because I saw … I saw this myself in the late ’70s in San Francisco,” Pelosi said, choking up and with tears forming in her eyes. “This kind of rhetoric is just, is really frightening and it created a climate in which we, violence took place and … I wish that we would all, again, curb our enthusiasm in some of the statements that are made.”

Boo HOO!!! You have no one to blame but yourselves, you wont listen to anyone else, you walk around congress like you own it (which I guess for now you do) you make statements that you dont care what people think about you and your party screams racisim every time they dont get there way.

So now, when the other side protest, it’s violence, when your team protests its patriotic?? As far as I’m aware the only severe violence to occur was when a health care reform activist bit the finger off a counter-demonstrator.
Stop being a hypocrite. Go kill a tree and blow on a kleenex. Your crocodile tears are a good ploy, but not good enough.

Obama’s Health Care supporter bites off finger of non-supporter

A healthcare reform activist is on the loose today after he bit off the finger of a 65-year-old counter-demonstrator during a fight at a MoveOn.org rally in Thousand Oaks.

That is certainly one way to prove a point.

The “bite off” occurred about 7 p.m. Wednesday at a “We Can’t Afford to Wait Vigil” organized by affiliates of the activist group MoveOn.org, which are the finger biters supporters of President Obama’s healthcare plan. The rally also attracted several counter-protesters.

If you see a man out there running around with a extra pinky, please contact the po-po. In all fairness I’m sure the fight was really over the “fist bump” making a come back and not the “pinky swear”.

funny fist bump

Protests aimed at Abortion clinic

Not matter what side of the fence you stand on, everyone has a right to an opionion and everyone has the right to protest. Peacefully.

There is however a good quote from Dr Carhart…”We say choice is right. If you don’t want to have an abortion, don’t have one.”
We all have choices everyday, we may not like the choices given to us, but they are choices none the less.

What is un-american and what is not?

Vs – this article

Why can a war be protested and not health insurance? No matter what side of the fence you stand on, why is it un-american for one protest and not another?
